About Us

What's up! As the founders of SPEAK, we are glad that you are taking an interest in our nonprofit. Our team started SPEAK as a way to bring awareness to the experiences many teenagers face regarding sexual violence and help destigmatize the topic. SPEAK is an organization run by teenagers to support our fellow teenage community. Many of us have experienced sexual harassment and violence or know someone that has. No matter who has faced struggles of this sort, everyone deserves resources and a place to feel like they are not alone. Our goal is to provide this for survivors or anyone in need. By hosting workshops, sharing resources, and posting supportive blogs, our team aims to inform, support, and encourage teens to speak up.
